I dig through the non-propaganda news so you don't have to.
Pipelines, Covid coverups and lots of woke.
A tale of two pipelines. One is good and the other is evil:
Good pipeline: Biden lifts US sanctions on major Russian pipeline (This pipeline does NOT cause climate change):
The Biden administration has waived sanctions on a company building a controversial gas pipeline between Russia and Germany. Critics say the pipeline is a major geopolitical prize for the Kremlin. Click here for link.
Evil pipeline: With a pen stroke, President Joe Biden cancels Keystone XL pipeline project (this pipeline DOES cause climate change):
The newly inaugurated US president has issued an executive order to cancel the Canadian pipeline project approved by his predecessor. Joe Biden has said climate change will be a big focus of his presidency. Click here for link.
How the COVID lab leak theory went from panned to seriously considered
The extraordinary evolution of thinking doesn't only implicate science. It also is a question of whether U.S. intelligence early on missed signs or suppressed evidence that pointed toward a lab accident.
Rep. Devin Nunes on Sunday sent a letter to Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines saying he is aware of evidence that U.S. intelligence analysts who saw some proof of the lab leak may have censored, silenced or muffled last year. His report Wednesday said it is now "crucial for health experts and the U.S. Government to understand how the COVID-19 virus originated."
The Media’s COVID Origin Coverup Campaign Has Begun:
David Frum is the first prominent journalist to fictionalize the debate over the origins of COVID, but he won’t be the last.
The former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Robert Redfield, said in a recent interview that, “it’s important to just maintain scientific objectivity as we begin to look at the evidence for the ultimate origins of this particular virus,” and that, “Covid-19 is really distinctively different in that it entered into our awareness, and literally at the same time had very efficient human to human transmission. That’s not how zoonosis usually enter in the human species.”
Now that prominent scientists like Redfield and others are saying such things, prominent journalists like the Atlantic’s David Frum are scrambling to re-write the history of how their entire industry dismissed and demonized anyone who suggested COVID might have escaped from a lab. Conservatives finally fighting back: Coke Tempers Its Politics Amid 'Woke Capitalism' After Ad Campaign
A conservative group’s $1 million ad campaign against what it considers “woke capitalism” seems to be having an impact, at least in the case of Coca-Cola and its executives’ desire to lower the political temperature. The ads, which pointedly criticize several CEOs on a range of issues — from contributing to childhood obesity to failing to stand up to the forced labor of China’s Uyghur minority — are aimed at trying to curb corporate boards taking political sides on such controversial issues as voting rights. Chris Rock rips cancel culture for rise in ‘boring’ entertainment
“I see a lot of unfunny comedians, I see unfunny TV shows, I see unfunny awards shows, I see unfunny movies — because everybody’s scared to make a move. And that’s not a place to be … Now you got a place where people are scared to talk,” he said, saying it was bizarre “especially in America.” Click here for link.

No conflict of interest here: BOMBSHELL: CNN’s Chris Cuomo Participated in Top-Level Strategy Calls With Brother Andrew About Scandals, Urged Him Not to Resign
CNN anchor Chris Cuomo advised his brother Andrew Cuomo, the governor of New York, on how to respond to sexual harassment allegations against him, urging him to take a defiant stand and refuse to resign, according to a Washington Post report. “Cuomo, one of the network’s top stars, joined a series of conference calls that included the Democratic governor’s top aide, his communications team, lawyers and a number of outside advisers, according to the people familiar with the conversations, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe the private sessions,” the Post’s Josh Dawsey and Sarah Ellison reported Thursday.
